It's amazing how some of the major U.S. corporations out of their way to create research and development teams and projects, often doing pure research for innovations in the market. It has often been said that a well-managed R & D program can pay dividends in a crowd of 10 or even 100 of the funds invested in their research. It's nice to see that Google is investing heavily in research into renewable and alternative energies.
